About April Rex

The difference is simple, I listen. During my assessment I focus on discovering your entire physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual history. As you tell me your story, I am tuned in to how your body moves during your brain’s work. Based on all the information gained during this intensive two-hour session I will have synthesized your body’s needs and established a healing path to move you forward toward your best possible self. Sessions with me are one-on-one and encompass all the skills that I have learned from gentle hands-on techniques, posture, body mechanics, movement, and grounding.
My eagerness to make a difference in people’s lives started more than 30 years ago when I joined the United States Coast Guard. Having retired in 2020 as a Chief Boatswain’s Mate I can now dedicate all my time with wonder and excitement as a holistic physical therapist. My education includes a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from American International College, a B.S. in Interdepartmental Science, a Medical Assisting certificate, and extensive manual therapy education at the Barral Institute.
If you are tired of feeling like your healthcare team is not on the same page, then let’s work together. If you are eager to manage your healing journey, to be better, to do more, then let’s work together.
